Henbury Corporate Luncheon

I would like to thank all staff who put in many, many hours to prepare our school for this event. Planning starts in March and finishes on the first Friday of December. A special thank you goes to Lauren Hofmeyer and Raylee Parker who were the Project Managers for the event, without their inspiring leadership this event would not have been the success it was. This year we raised $46 500.

I wish all students, families, carers and school community members a joyous Christmas and a safe holiday. School resumes for students on Tuesday 28 January 2020.

Principal

HELLO FROM HENBURY ON ARALIA, WELCOME TO WEEK 9

What a great year it has been for Henbury on Aralia. A big thank you to all of the staff and students who were involved. It has been an incredible journey and we have all learned lots and had fun on the way. Our recent achievements are not limited to but include: a segment on ABC radio, an appearance in ‘Around Palmerston’, hosting our first ever High Tea, and of course winning the awards for ‘Innovation’ and ‘Overall Excellence’ at the Disability Services and Inclusion Awards.

And we are not finished yet! In coming weeks we will be hosting some functions and also getting into the Christmas spirit – so we will be busy. We will have lots of lovely Christmas gifts in the shop and of course be doing some yummy Christmas baking! We will be open until the end of the school term, and also open for one extra week thanks to so many fantastic volunteer staff and students. Our official last day for 2019 will be Friday 30th December. Opening hours will be as normal:

Thursday 10am – 2pm
Friday 10am – 2pm
Saturday 9am – 1pm
(And as always kitchen closes 1 hour before shop)

We will then close over the school holidays, and re-open in week 1 of Term 1 2020 – on Thursday 30th January.

Merry Christmas to everyone from the team at Henbury on Aralia!

CONGRATULATIONS MALAKAI

Congratulations to Malakai who won the CDU Cert 1 Retail award for the NT.
